    Flower Reception:

    The plant receives flowers delivered by the growers either directly to the factory or collected from various flower collection centers. The Flower Reception can handle up to 30,000 MT of dried flowers per year and has a buffer capacity of 2 silos holding a total of 500 MT. The Growers flowers are received directly from farmer or collection centers.

    Grinding Plant:

    The flowers are ground into grist, which is a physical process.

    Extraction Plant:

    Primary Process can extract up to 24,000 MT of dried flowers each year. There are two extraction plants with a total capacity of processing 75 MT per day. The older plant has the capacity of processing 25 MT of flowers per day and is the one currently in operation. The new extract plant has the capacity of processing 50 MT of flowers per day and is designed to use 15 liters of hexane per MT of flowers, for every run of 100 MT of dry flowers.

    Powder Plant:

    Consists of a Powder Milling and a Powder Blending Plant. It can process 6,000 MT of dry flowers per year into powders of various grades (previously 1.3%, 0.9% and 0.6% powder).

    Refinery Plants:

    The factory operates two (2) refineries with a combined input capacity of 3,600 Kgs of crude extracts to produce quality pyrethrum refined extract. The Company’s refined pyrethrum extract is considered by end users worldwide over as the best in quality. This has been achieved through elaborate process and management systems developed in house by the Company over the years ensuring that they are in line with practices in the developed world.

    Ancillary plants:

    Consists of steam generation, refrigeration, cooling and firefighting water and Compressed air systems.
